A ZIP code is just a starting point. Many programs serve a school district or county, which doesn't always match ZIP codes, so check the service area on each listing.
Before you go
- Call before traveling. Ask whether registration is open and whether there's still space.
- Write down both the signup deadline and the pickup date. A pickup date is not the signup deadline.
- Ask what ID, proof of address, children's birth dates or custody papers you need.
- Ask about teen gifts, accessible pickup, language help, and whether someone you trust can pick up for you.
- Apply only through the organization's own process. MomUnity never asks for Social Security numbers or documents.
