Short answers to the questions moms ask us most.
How do I join?
Anyone who is a mother or caregiver aged 18+ can create a free account today. You'll confirm your email address, then complete a short welcome so we can connect you with moms nearby.
Is it free?
Yes. The MomUnity Project is a nonprofit community. There is no cost to join, ask for help, or offer help.
Will people judge me for asking?
No. Asking is the point. Every member accepts our Community Guidelines, which make judgment a removable offence.
Who can see my children's information?
Only you, unless you turn on the setting that shares your children's age ranges with other members. Full names, schools and addresses should never be posted.
How do I ask for help?
Open Community, choose 'I need help', pick a category and how urgent it is, and share as much or as little detail as you want.
How do playdates work?
Any member can host. You set the place, time and age range, and other moms RSVP. You can cancel any time — nobody here will hold it against you.
Can I post anonymously?
In Venting Sessions, yes. You can post under your profile, a nickname or fully anonymously.
How do I stop someone contacting me?
Open their profile and choose Block. They can no longer message you and they disappear from your directory. You can also Mute to quietly hide their posts.
A resource listing is out of date. What do I do?
Use 'Report outdated info' on the listing. It goes straight to our resource team's verification queue.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us and we'll remove your profile and personal content.
